Yard Waste

  • Yard Waste is collected from the first week of April through the last week of November, on the same day as your refuse collection.  Please place yard waste five feet from trash and recyclables.  For complete information please view the Guidelines for Curbside Recycling and Household Solid Waste Services.
    • Residents are encouraged to practice grass cycling and to mow their leaves instead of bagging them for collection.
    • Christmas Trees will be collected the first two weeks following New Years.  Please remove all ornaments and tinsel.  Christmas trees that are bagged will not be recycled.  Trees over 6 feet must be cut in half.
    • Burning leaves and brush is not permitted in the City of Saline.
