Solid Waste Services

• Residents are responsible for securing their own waste hauler. Some options include:

• Monroe's Rubbish Removal: 810-231-1055
• Waste Management: 800-796-9696
• Clean-up Days: County-sponsored clean-up days to be announced. Check online for more information on the spring and fall clean-up days happening nearest you.

Recycling Services

• Due to budget cuts, monthly recycling services are no longer available in Northfield Township.
• Check with your waste hauler to see if they provide curbside recycling.
• Residents are also encouraged to use the Washtenaw County Regional Drop-off Station, located on 2950 East Ellsworth Road in Ann Arbor, 734-971-7400. There is no fee for standard recyclables.

Yard Waste

• There is no yard waste collection service in Northfield Township
• If you plan to have an open fire, visit the Township Offices, 75 Barker Road, 734-449-2880, to obtain a burn permit.
