- Residents are responsible for securing their own waste hauler. Some options include:

- County-sponsored clean-up days to be announced. Check online for more information on the spring and fall clean-up days happening nearest you.

- Acceptable Materials
- Paper: newspaper, cardboard, magazines, office paper, phone books, boxboard
- Metals: aluminum and tin
- Plastic: #1 PET plastic and #2 HDPE plastic, bottles only. Discard caps before recycling. No #1 or #2 tubs or plastic with #3-7.
- Other: Glass
- Residents are also encouraged to check with their waste hauler to see if they provide curbside recycling services.
Yard Waste
- There is no yard waste collection service in Freedom Township.
- If you plan to have an open fire, please call the Manchester Township Fire Department at 734-428-9439 to obtain a permit.
