on electronic media and other technotrash. The resulting materials are then
used to manufacture the GreenDisk branded line of office supplies.

Apple
Purchase a qualifying Apple computer or monitor and receive free recycling
of your old computer and monitor - regardless of manufacturer.
Dell
Recycle your unwanted PC or computer electronics for a flat fee per item. If
you buy a new Dell desktop or notebook and select the free recycling option
at the time of purchase, they will recycle your old PC and monitor for
free.
Update: Dell now offers free recycling of Dell machines
without a further purchase. Dell has also partnered with the National
Cristina Foundation, allowing them to offer charitable donations of
machines, in addition to their recycling options.
Gateway
Gateway offers cash to individuals and small businesses for their old
technology with proof of purchase of a new Gateway or eMachines
product. They also offer recycling services for larger businesses and
institutions.
Hewlett Packard
HP charges for recycling used items but offers higher-value coupons towards
future HP purchases.
IBM
Through the IBM PC Recycling Service, consumers and small businesses can
recycle any manufacturer's PCs including units, monitors, printers and
optional attachmnents for $29.99, which includes shipping. This
service can be purchased without the purchase of a new machine.
