Quinn Evans | Architects is a full service architectural firm located in downtown Ann Arbor and an office dedicated to recycling. Aside from more common recyclable items, old blueprints, glass, and vellum are collected for recycling. In order to further help their pocketbooks and the environment, some of their office supplies such as manila folders, hanging file folders, notebooks and envelopes are purchased from the Recycle Ann Arbor ReUse Center. The company also uses small sized font in order to get the most out of each sheet of paper. Quinn Evans | Architects has decided to make environmentally friendly purchasing a top priority at the office; their stationary is made from a “tree-less” (bamboo) source, a more sustainable source of paper then wood pulp. In addition, the firm designates an employee to oversee their waste reduction program to enhance environmental education at the workplace.
