Sustainable Business Practices

The Waste Knot program is proud to recognize City Body for their environmental endeavors. City Body is an automobile maintenance facility located in Depot Town Ypsilanti. Twice weekly they load a 15 foot trailer and haul materials to the recycling center. In addition, they reuse bubble and plastic wrap, boxes, old paint and they recycle cardboard. To ensure that all employees comply with the company’s recycling guidelines, they have designated one employee to oversee waste reduction. To conserve energy, City Body uses ENERGY STAR features on office equipment and reduces temperatures when the facility is unoccupied.
