A series of regional workshops were held throughout the County in Nov & Dec 2003. The purpose of the workshops was to introduce members of the public to the Comprehensive Plan process and solicit feedback on issues and oportunities that face their community.
After a brief presentation, participants were divided into groups and asked to identify issues they feel the community is facing now and will face in the future.
The participants were then asked to identify opportunities within the County. They responded to the following questions: "What would make Washtenaw County a better place to live?" and "What can be improved?". The result of these discussions are below:
