Ms. Kat (Coordinator)
Hello, my name is Kat and I am very excited to be joining the Day Camp Program at Rolling Hills. I started working at Rolling Hills in 2007 and have loved every minute of it. I have a BS and teaching certificate from Eastern Michigan University in Language Arts and Elementary Education. During the school year you’ll find me teaching and coaching in the Lincoln Consolidated School District. When I’m not working, I like to exercise, spend time with my family and friends, and read. I look forward to meeting each camper and their families!
My name is Jill and I am a senior at Central Michigan University. I am studying to become an elementary teacher with a major in language arts and a minor in mathematics. I enjoy exercising, yoga, crafts, reading, hanging out with my family, and being outdoors. I have always wanted to be an educator and cannot wait to teach, grow, and learn alongside my future students.
I'm Keri and I am going to Eastern Michigan University working on my major in Elementary Education with a minor in Children's Literature. I am also a Girl Scout leader in Milan and work with a wide age range of girls. I have also volunteered in Elementary classrooms so I have also worked with a wide range of students. I have led many camps and camping outings with the Girl Scouts so I feel right at home outdoors. I look forward to meeting you and working with you children!
My name is Jared, I'm a Kalamazoo College student in the class of 2016, and I plan to pursue Engineering. I am passionate about helping others learn and grow, as I am a Teaching Assistant for Intro Physics at my school and a Classroom Tutor at the nearest elementary school. I am from Ann Arbor, where I played basketball and football for Huron High. I enjoy just about all types of sports and many outdoor activities including camping, swimming, and biking. I have experience as a Day Camp Counselor, but this is my first summer at Rolling Hills. I greatly look forward to having lots of fun and getting to know each camper and their families!
