Meet the Staff

Miss Megan (Coordinator)
Hey campers! I'm Miss Megan and am really excited to be back at Rolling Hills! I worked as a lifeguard here for nine summers between 2004 and 2013. Last summer, I joined the Meri Lou Murray Day Camp as a counselor. I am a certified elementary and middle school language arts teacher and substitute throughout the school year while looking for a full-time teaching position. I love the outdoors, the Detroit Tigers, reading, teaching, and my two Poodles, Spanky and Darla. I can't wait to get camp started; we have a really awesome summer planned!

Miss Keri
My name is Keri and this is my third summer working at the Rolling Hills Day Camp. I have enjoyed the past two summers and I am looking forward to working with all of the campers this summer. I am currently attending Eastern Michigan University and I am majoring in Elementary Education with a double minor in Language Arts and Integrated Sciences. I enjoy being outside, reading, hiking, and being with friends and family. I can't wait to meet you and work with your kids!

Miss Brittany
I am Brittany and I will be a senior next fall at Michigan State, where I am studying Child Development with a minor in Theatre. I'm hoping to work in a non-profit helping at-risk kids after I graduate. I really like to travel and volunteer! Arts and crafts are my favorite camp activity and I am really excited to make some great memories with this summer's campers!

Mr. Alex
Hey Campers! I am really excited for camp this summer! I am currently attending Albion College where I am studying to become and Elementary Teacher. I will be Student Teaching in the fall of 2015. I have been a lifeguard at Rolling Hills for the past 4 summers and I really love the park. I graduated from Lincoln High School and have a lot of experience being on the park trails from my days running cross country. At Albion College, I am captain on the track and field team where I participate primarily in the hurdle events. I plan on running cross country in the fall to end my college career. I love summer, soccer, sunshine, God, reading, strawberries, being barefoot, Taylor Swift, running, long-boarding, and doing anything and everything active! A cool fact about me is that I am a triplet! My two brothers and I are really close, even though we don't look alike. I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
