Park Hours
GENERAL PARK
• Independence Lake is open from 8:00 a.m. to dusk year round.
SPRAY ZONE & BEACH
• The beach and spray zone are open from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend during the hours of: the beach - 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the spray zone - 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Weather permitting the beach and spray zone may extend spring/fall hours for weekends only - call the park for verification.
• Beach and spray zone hours are subject to change without advance notice, 734-449-4437.

Boat Rental Fees 
Flotation devices are required and provided. In order to rent a boat, individuals must sign a boating rules and regulation acknowledgment form. Additionally, a $20.00 refundable deposit is required for all rentals.
