Pavilions are rented on a first come, first serve basis. There are numerous picnic tables and grills located around the general park and in the outer water park area. Pavilion Applications can be mailed upon request or downloaded (pdf). Pavilions are rented on a first come first served basis, and can not be reserved without a completed application and payment of rental fees (cash or credit card).
Rental applications are accepted on the first business day in October for the following year. This process begins at 8:30 a.m. at the park office. Applications are accepted at the Rolling Hills Lodge office, as well as by mail. A copy of the application will be returned to you confirming your rental date. If your requested date has already been reserved, we will call you immediately to find an alternative shelter or date.

Some General Rules Regarding Pavilions:
During emergency weather conditions, the pavilions may be used as shelter for other patrons in the park.
Driving to the pavilions to load or unload is allowed within reason and with permission of the park manager. There is no parking at the pavilions.
No pets are allowed at the pavilions.
Alcohol is ONLY allowed at the pavilion with special permit (pdf).
Parking space is not guaranteed with pavilion rental.

With the exception of the Great Room at the Lodge, the pavilions at Rolling Hills do not have running water or electricity.
The Prairie Pavilion is the largest shelter at Rolling Hills with a seating capacity of 200. It includes a group size barbeque grill and is located immediately adjacent to a large parking area and a mowed field for group games or activities. The waterpark, horseshoe pits and permanent restrooms are only a few steps away.
The Woodland Pavilion is located on the edge of the wood lot overlooking the pond below. It offers the most privacy of the pavilions at Rolling Hills and seating for 90. This pavilion has a group size barbeque grill and is only a few steps on a paved trail from the parking lot.
There are four Family Pavilions at Rolling Hills that accommodate up to 12 guests each and a grill and two picnic tables. Two pavilions are located next to the water park and two are located near the Prairie Pavilion, just a few steps from the parking lot and water park.
The Great Room at the Lodge is an indoor meeting space with variable seating for 30 - 50 guests. It has a vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace and scenic views of the pond and woodlands. In warm weather, this rental will include the outdoor patio and a grill. The Lodge building offers permanent restrooms which are available to the general public at all times. The Great Room is not available for rent during winter park operations.
