18th Annual Ann Arbor Garden Walk - June 14, 10AM - 4PM

Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission Cordially Invites You To Join in Ann Arbor’s 18th Annual Garden Walk! 

Saturday ~ June 14th 2008 ~ 10 am - 4 pm

 This Year’s Artistic Garden Expressions Walk  Allows you to Tour 7 Beautiful Gardens around the Ann Arbor area; One of which will lead you to discover a unique and intriguing “Gem” of a Garden at Washtenaw’s County Farm Park.  

Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission is proud to be part of this 2008 Annual Ann Arbor Garden Walk™, sponsored by The Ann Arbor Branch, Woman’s National Farm & Garden Association. Proceeds will benefit Growing Hope, helping to fund the Greenhouse & Demonstration Garden at their new Education Center on 922 W. Michigan Ave, in downtown Ypsilanti. Growing Hope works with children at risk and under privileged families. 

Garden Walk Tickets will be on sale May 10 and through the day of the Walk, at Ann Arbor’s Downtown Home & Garden, Nicola’s Books/ Westgate, Dixboro General Store, and Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Garden Walk tickets are $12.00 and may be charged at select sites. For more information you may call 734-663-2867, or after May 1st you may visit www.annarborfarmandgarden.org

Also, just minutes from the west side gardens, a special treat will be available to all Garden Walk ticket holders – Lunch at the Firefly Jazz Club, from 11:30AM-2:30PM for $14.00. Enjoy a gourmet box lunch while listening to THE PAUL KELLER TRIO. Please reserve a box lunch by calling 734-668-2025.
