Official Partner of "Leave No Trace"

As a proud new partner of the “Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics”, Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission has strengthened its commitment to protect and preserve our cherished public lands. This nonprofit organization works to integrate a nationally recognized set of outdoor skills and ethics with basic messages such as “stay on the trail, leave what you find, respect wildlife, leave no trash.” New signage at the County’s NAPP preserves emphasizes the importance of environmental stewardship with information based on the seven principles of Leave No Trace.
