The Independence Lake Beach Center Facility was opened in May of 2004.  The Beach Center houses the park office, first-aid station, year-round restroom facilities, a concession - with patio eating area and includes the Beach Center Pavilion.  The facility is in a scenic park setting and is located adjacent to the beach and spray zone.

The meeting room is available for rental year round.  However, the concessions is operated seasonally.
