Independence Lake has the fun new “Spray-Zone” right next to the great beachfront on the lake. Plantings around the fountains have many different varieties of perennials and grasses, most of them native.

The Robert Gamble Group Pavilion has a small crescent shaped garden. A native plant identification list is available for the gardens, a restored prairie, and along the many trails you can explore within the park.
