Water Park Features
Wave Pool: The zero depth entry allows guests to play in the surf of the shallow end and ride the waves floating in inner tubes in the deeper water. On busy days, park visitors cheer when the bell sounds announcing the beginning of the wave cycle. The waves are on for 8 minutes and then the water is calm for 12, with the cycle being repeated throughout the day. |
Water Slides: Theres a kiddy slide for children less than 45 tall and two slides for guests more than 42 tall. The kiddy slide gently slopes into shallow water and is wide enough for several children to ride at the same time. The narrow body slide offers a long straightaway and a sweeping turn before spilling into a splash pool. On the wider tube slide, guests may ride with or without a tube and, as an option, any guest at least 16 years old may ride with a child less than 45 tall in their lap. |
Lazy River: The lazy river has a zero-edge entrance, a depth of 30 throughout and offers 750 feet of slow moving current. Guests may enjoy a relaxing float in a no-spray channel or choose an optional adventure route featuring various forms of spray, geysers or falling water, including tumble buckets that randomly fill and spill on the guests floating below. |
Activity Pool: The activity pool is very popular with younger children due to its wide zero depth entry, gentle bubblers, geysers, a waterfall and the kiddy slide for children under 45 tall. |
Spraygrounds: The two spraygrounds near the lazy river are a big hit with our younger guests. The smaller spray play area is generally more appealing to younger children and features floor geysers, a series of chutes and falls, and a wheel to turn to increase or decrease the size of a water umbrella. The larger sprayground offers tube slides, open slides, water falls, water cannons, fill and spill buckets and typically attracts the more adventurous guests. |
Tot Sand Play Area: Theres also a sand play area designed for younger children located near the spraygrounds which includes spring riders, seated backhoe diggers and oversized animal sculptures to climb on or crawl through. Theres lots of sand for the imaginative types, seating for whoevers watching the kiddies and a shower to wash off the sand afterward.
