The 363-acre park is open year-round from 8 a.m. to dusk, offering 1.8 miles of paved trails, 3 miles of nature trails with rolling terrain, a challenging 18-hole disc golf course, picnic tables and grills located throughout the park and guided interpretive tours by appointment.
From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, the water park is open - featuring a wave pool, water slides, lazy river, spraygrounds, sand play area and a concessions menu with affordable summertime treats, healthy choices and grilled foods.
Additional park amenities include a pond with a handicapped accessible fishing pier, and for special occasions, one indoor and six outdoor pavilions that accommodate parties of 12 to 200. The park offers a playground level ball diamond, sand volleyball court and horseshoe pits (horseshoes are available for loan).
In winter, the park features a sledding hill, a half mile of cleared walking trail, three miles of groomed x-country ski trails and a half mile of torch lit ski trail (weather permitting). Toboggans, sledding tubes and x-c skiing equipment are available for rent.
Park visitors should expect to pay a vehicle entrance fee. County residents must show ID to receive the discounted rate.
