Playgrounds

Children's playgrounds are provided at Independence Lake Park, Rolling Hills, Park Lyndon, Cavanaugh Lake and Park Northfield.

Playground at Independence LakeIndependence Lake Park has three separate playscapes including a large, handicapped accessible, multi-component structure with slides, bridges, climbers, tunnels and a track ride, as well as a separate swing set area.  Benches are provided at the large play structure for parental supervision which is required at all playgrounds.

A wet playground was constructed at Independence Lake in 2001 and is open for public use during the Independence Park summer season.

An exciting new playground is open at County Farm Park in the central Ann Arbor area. The playground design is in the theme of a farm, with running water, farm animals, a windmill and has handicap accessible gardens.
