Boating

WCPARC offers boat rental at Independence Lake Park. No motors (electric or troll) are allowed on these rental boats.  In addition, there is a boat access available for patrons to launch their own boat. A vehicle entry fee is required.

• Boat rental fees - Rowboats & Paddleboats are available for rent
• Rowboats, canoes, paddleboats and kayaks are allowed
• Motors over 10 horsepower are NOT allowed
• All boats must be off the water by 8:00 p.m. or Dusk, whichever is earlier
• All DNR/USCG boating and fishing rules must be followed
• U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices are required for ALL boaters
  
  

Small boats and canoes may also use the launch at Pierce Lake Golf Course & Park.

A canoe launch for River Raisin is available at Sharon Mills.
