Map and Transportation

The LBPD and the Library Learning Resource Center (LLRC) are located at 4135 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan, in the County Service Center on the corner of Washtenaw and Hogback.  Our building is located on the east end of the Service Center, just beyond the Sheriff's Office.

Parking is free at the County Service Center.
The Washtenaw County Library building is handicapped accessible.

Transportation

By bus:
There is an Ann Arbor Transit Authority (AATA) bus stop for route numbers 4 and 7 on Washtenaw Ave., just east of Hogback Rd.

You can access bus schedules and get information on rates at the AATA website.

Special services for people with disabilities: AATA also provides special services to people with disabilities through their "A-Ride" program.
Features include:
The use of taxi cabs, small busses, or lift vans.  Fares of $1.50 per one-way trip.  Please call AATA at (734)973-6500 for an application or for more information about the "A-Ride" program.

By car:
Washtenaw County Library is located in the County Service Center, at the corner of Washtenaw Ave. and Hogback Rd.

I-94 East and West connect to US Route 23 North
US Route 23 North and South both exit onto Washtenaw Ave.
After you exit, go east on Washtenaw Ave.
Go north (left) at the first traffic light.
Turn right into the first driveway.
Go to the far east end of the parking lot.
