Books in Braille

LBPD works in conjunction with the Library of Michigan Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in Lansing to provide Braille books to registered consumers.

To request Braille books, please contact LBPD.

Click here to search for available book titles in the online catalog provided by the National Library Service (NLS).  The NLS catalog includes recorded and Braille books.  To request books found in the catalog, you must  contact LBPD.

The NLS catalog's most recent book titles are available in the Braille Book Review publication.  Registered consumers of the LBPD can choose to automatically receive this Braille publication in the mail every two months.

The NLS catalog does not include titles for large print books or descriptive videos loaned by the LBPD.
