The Office Infrastructure Management (OIM) is committed to a program of proactive planning and execution to ensure a safe, secure, attractive, and effective work environment that supports our customers: County citizens, County staff and our partners in the community. Our portfolio includes of 24 buildings totaling approximately one million square feet of space on 93 acres, over 1500 personal computers, and 175 servers running 100+ server-side applications delivered via a 62 mile private fiber optic data network.
Some of the services we provide are: emergency response and business continuity leadership and planning, internal energy and environmental program leadership and management, development, implementation and management of technology applications, network, voice, and data communications infrastructure, capital building systems, integrated infrastructure operations, county-wide help desk and internal mail services.
Our organizational structure is comprised of 3 divisions that ensure the continuity of these services throughout Washtenaw County Government. Lead by Director Gregory Dill, Infrastructure Management consists of 50 full time employees involved in the daily operations of Facilities Management, Information Technology and Administrative Operations. The Help Desk receives on average over 19,000 calls a year for service which are routed to specialized teams to respond and resolve.
Our mission is to evaluate the current space allocation for the county and work cooperatively with departments to develop a recommended plan to support the delivery of services to the Washtenaw County community.
