Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association
The Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association (VEBA) is a Retiree Health Care Trust where portfolio management activities are under control of the plan administrator / Board of Trustees. The purpose of this VEBA is to provide for medical benefits for retired employees of the County, their spouses and dependents, pursuant to the terms of the Washtenaw County Retiree Health Care Plan. The Trust was created under the authority of Section 501(c) (9) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
