STATUS: Parks Seasonal (3-9 Months)
SALARY RANGE $7.90 - $10.40/hr (eligible for $0.25/hr bonus upon completion of criteria)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of a higher classified employee, this position involves shift supervision of day-to-day park operations. Performs pre-season start-up and post-season shut-down activities. Supervises an operational shift, opens and closes the park. Assists in staff training and scheduling, makes work assignments and evaluates performance. Performs all duties of Park Ranger and other duties as assigned. Operation season varies depending on time of year. Reports to Park and Facility Supervisor, Park Manager or higher authority.

EDUCATION: High school diploma required. College course work preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Management of seasonal employees experience preferred..
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have working knowledge of point of sale system, making change, and completing reports. Must be able to interact pleasantly with general public and co-workers. Must have strong communication skills and a customer service philosophy. Typical work schedule includes one weekend and four weekday shifts including evenings and holidays.
