TITLE: Park Maintenance Labor Aide

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a higher classified employee, performs a variety of grounds care and building maintenance tasks related to seasonal park use. These tasks require physical strength and effort with relatively low level of complexity and responsibility.

EDUCATION: Work requires a level of reading, writing and mathematic skills that is normally attained in high school graduation.

EXPERIENCE: is an entry level position and no specific prior experience is required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Michigan Driver’s License. MIOSHA safety boots are required. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays. Position involves some interaction with the general public which requires good communication skills and a strong public service philosophy.
