TITLE:  Assistant Club House Manager
JOB CODE:  0032     

JOB DESCRIPTION:   Under the supervision of a higher classified employee, position requires shift supervision for the daily operation of the clubhouse. Includes assisting in staff training, managing staff work and schedules; also accounts for daily monies and receipts and problem resolution.  Answers phones, schedules tee times, and performs other related duties as assigned.  This position will need to become fluid in the use of the Fore reservation POS system.  This system is used to market the golf course and track all purchases.

EDUCATION:    Possession of high school diploma or equivalent and college course work required.

EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of one (1) year as a cashier, preferably at a golf course.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:  Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to the worksite. 

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays.  Must have knowledge of golf and golf etiquette.  Demonstrated ability to perform duties as a manager and be able to interact with staff and co-workers in a golf setting. Must be 18 years of age or older at time of application.  Must be familiar with proper food handling procedures.  Must acquire the status of TIPS certified alcohol server before starting work.  TIPS training is available at Pierce Lake Golf Course.
