Washtenaw County COBRA Administration Combines with ADP Benefit Services

Washtenaw Countys COBRA, (insurance program giving some employees the ability to continue health insurance coverage after leaving employment,) is now being administered, in part, by a new Third Party Administrator (TPA) ADP Benefit Services.

ADP will handle three areas of COBRA Administration:

Processing COBRA qualifying events

Billing and premium collection and

Termination of coverage

The outsourcing of COBRA administration will bring several customer service enhancements to COBRA participants. COBRA participants will have access to basic account information via web access at https://www.benedirect.adp.com/.

See a PDF brochure on ADP Benefit Services. (5MB)

If you are a COBRA participant, you should have received a welcome letter with the July billing coupon. All COBRA premiums for coverage after July 1, 2006, must be made payable to ADPBenefit Services and remitted to
