Available Extension Parenting Programs

Peer Education Program (0 – 3) Go to

An in-home, one-on-one education on parenting along with breastfeeding and/or nutrition. Educators work with families until they complete the program.

Building Strong Families (0 – 3)

Basic parenting that is for parents of newborns to 3 year olds. The program is 6 weeks long or offered in the home.

How To Talk So Kids Will Listen (any age) Go to

Parenting skills on communication. This program is 4-6 weeks long.

Siblings Without Rivalry (any age)

Parenting skills on helping siblings get along better. This program is 4 to 6 weeks long.

Parenting On Your Own Go to

This is a parenting program for single parents. It is an ongoing program. Once participant attends 6 classes, they will receive a certificate.

ReThink Go to

This is a 4-week session on anger management for parents.

Building Strong Adolescents Go to

This is a 6-week session for parents of teenagers.
