The Community Needs 4-H's Help- Let's Do It!!
4-H can make the difference-- let's use our head, hands, and heart to improve the health of others!
The Washtenaw County MSU Extension office is collecting nonperishable food donations for Food Gatherers for the months of October-December. Consider donating something each month, and encouraging your clubs to join!

October- canned vegetables, canned fruit (especially good are peaches, pears and pineapple) and canned tuna to be donated to Food Gatherer's

November- canned soup, boxed crackers, applesauce in plastic containers and packets or boxes of instant potatoes to be donated to Food Gatherer's

December- canned vegetables, canned fruits of any type, canned hams, boxed stuffing and boxed potatoes to be donated to Food Gatherer's
- January- mittens, scarves and hats that (purchased or
constructed) to be donated to Ronald McDonald House and Safe House.
February- personal hygiene items (regular size or travel) such as tooth paste, tooth brushes, bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, etc. to be donated to Alpha House. -
March- toilet paper, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, diapers, Kleenex, etc. to be donated to Faith in Action.
Drop off your donations to our MSUE office, lower level, lobby Monday-Thursday 8 am 6pm.
This is a great club community service activity. Lets show Washtenaw County how 4-H can make the difference. If you have any questions, contact Elaine at 222-3973.
