Home Weatherization Programs
Is your heating bill too high. Many low-income residents are eligible
to have energy-saving materials such as insulation,
weather-stripping and caulking are installed free of charge in their
homes. Small repairs to doors and windows are also covered. Major
improvements such as furnaces and roof replacements are made when funding
permits. This program also offers consumer education to promote energy
conservation.
All Washtenaw County residents who meet annual household income guidelines are eligible, whether they live in single-family homes, mobile homes, or rental unites.
