Emergency Services

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)TEFAP

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) was originally intended to provide short-term emergency food assistance to area households, however, etcs has found that many of our clients rely on TEFAP and other nutrition services as their primary food supply.  TEFAP provides food that is nutritious, and encourages healthy eating habits.

In the past etcs has held quarterly TEFAP food distributions.  As of January 2009, Washtenaw County residents can visit designated food pantries throughout the Washtenaw County area to recieve TEFAP food items.   Please click on the appropriate link below to obatin a full list of participating pantries in your area.
