Volunteering in the Community

A great way to get started is to be a volunteer. While being a volunteer means that you dont get paid, it is often a great way to get a job.

Most colleges look for people who have community service experience- being a volunteer. Being a volunteer looks good on your resume. It demonstrates that you are willing to make a commitment. It is a way to learn about careers, learn skills and feel good about what you are doing.
