Hours and Holidays

Note: These hours of operation and holidays apply to most County departments, however some departments do not follow this schedule.

Hours of Operation
Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5pm,
Saturday-Sunday: closed

Holidays The County Offices will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

2008

  • New Year’s Day –- Tuesday -- January 1, 2008

  • Good Friday (12-5pm) –- Friday –- March 21, 2008

  • Labor Day –- Monday -- September 1, 2008
  • Columbus Day –- Monday -- October 13, 2008
  • Veteran’s Day –- Tuesday -- November 11, 2008

2009

The day off before New Years Day and Christmas Day applies only when 12/25 and 1/1 normally fall on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.(the full day off is only applicable to employees whose collective bargaining agreement has been ratified).

Should a holiday fall on Saturday, Friday shall be considered the holiday. Should a holiday fall on Sunday, Monday shall be considered the holiday. Employees will be paid their current rate based on their regular scheduled workdays for holidays.

This schedule does not apply to the Sheriffs Department, which has a different schedule.
