Information for Zero Waste Events in Washtenaw County, MI

Zero Waste Washtenaw Logo with webThrough the Zero Waste Washtenaw program, Washtenaw County's Solid Waste Division offers resources and education to implement composting & recycling at special events in the community. The purpose of Zero Waste Washtenaw is to encourage and assist all community event participants (organizers & attendees) in reducing the environmental impact of events by working towards the goal of zero waste.

EVERY EVENT COUNTS... The efforts at individual events contribute to Washtenaw County's overall waste reduction goals, not only by reducing landfill waste that day at the event, but also through the education that event guests take home with them!
