Organizational Designs is a professional interior design and consulting firm serving residential and commercial clients. The firm has made a commitment to waste reduction, reuse, and recycling. Double-sided printing and e-mail are utilized to reduce paper consumption and many materials are reused. Even though the firms landlords decided against renewing the recycling collection contract, Organizational Designs owner decided to self-haul items to a recycling drop-off station instead of throwing them in the landfill. Besides recycling many items, Organizational Designs also closes the recycling loop by purchasing items such as calculator tape, garbage bags, file folders, desk top organizers, and hand towels made from recycled content materials. The firm also makes efforts to purchase recycled content wallpaper and furniture whenever possible.
