Sustainable Business Practices

Master Tech is an appliance repair facility that has operated in Ann Arbor since 1978. The company reconditions used appliances for reuse and resale. Apart from some more common reuse activities, they recover parts from discarded appliances to be reused and resold. In fact, Master Tech offers used or rebuilt parts for half the price, keeping costs down for the customers while reducing waste. Freon refrigerant is also recovered and recycled from the facility. Large volumes of distributor invoices are used to make note pads for employees, further reducing the amount of waste generated at Master Tech Appliance Service.
