Sustainable Business Practices

Legal Services of South Central Michigan (LSSCM) is a private non-profit organization that provides free legal advice and representation to low-income persons and senior citizens (regardless of income) in certain civil legal cases. LSSCM is staffed by attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, law students, and community volunteers all of whom are introduced to their organizations waste reduction program. Not only does LSSCM recycle and reuse a variety of standard office supplies, they have also noticed that through recycling, the amount of garbage they send to landfill each week has decreased significantly.
