Waste Knot is proud to continue its partnership with Harringtons Standard Printing. Located in Depot Town Ypsilanti, Harringtons can take care of any of your printing needs from letterheads to photos. The facility reduces waste by printing double-sided, using electronic documents, e-mail and reusing envelopes, boxes, packing material and paper. The facility recycles paper, cans, packaging materials, scrap metal, mixed paper, glass, wood debris, cardboard, plastic, negatives and all fixer with silver. Harringtons also purchases products with recycled materials such as copier paper, envelopes, file folders, letterhead, brochure/flyer paper and cardboard boxes. To ensure their recycling policies are executed, Harringtons has designated an employee to oversee waste reduction. To conserve energy the facility uses fluorescent lights, places external lights on timers and performed routine check-ups on equipment.
