Sustainable Business Practices

Georgetown Country Club offers affordable family fun with their 8-lane pool, executive golf course and four tennis courts. Originally built in 1970, the Country Club reduces paper waste by encouraging electronic communication and double-sided printing, and reusing envelopes. In addition to purchasing recycled content materials, the club recycles cardboard, plastic containers, yard waste, and cell phones. The club also employs night setbacks when the Club is unoccupied and installs variable frequency drives wherever possible to conserve energy. Employees are educated about recycling and energy conservation procedures held at the Club and environmentally friendly products to fertilize the course and clean the pools are used.
