Sustainable Business Practices

Forma Fine Crafts is an art gallery located in downtown Ann Arbor. The gallery was designed to be a green building. Storefront glass, ceiling tiles and fluorescent lights were reused throughout the facility as well as recycled content carpet and linoleum. Water efficiency, energy efficiency and environmental quality were also designed into the building. The gallery recycles a wide range of materials including cardboard, plastic containers, wood debris and packaging materials. Forma Fine Crafts worked with Damian Farrell Design Group to create a gallery that not only displays a variety of artwork in a beautiful fashion, but also respects the environment. To continue the recycling loop, the gallery recycles a variety of products and buys an array of recycled content products such as copier paper, hand towels, toilet paper and cardboard.
