The Ann ARbor PTO Thrift Shop is a non-profit that offers financial aid to Ann Arbor Public schools for student groups.

Sustainable Practices

The shop is also committed to beign an excellent resourse for the local community who are lookign for an outlet to recycle their unwanted items. We take in a large colume of donations 6 days a week. We go through all these donations with the intent of either selling or recycling all that we can. We don't even order many supplies because we use all that can be salvaged in our facility from used donations. These include furniture, file cabinets, paper, journals, pens, pencils, envelopes, staplers, staples, even shovels, brooms, cleaning supplies and the list goes on and on. All of our employees are well aware of our recycling procedures. Many of them ahve joined us not only to be a part of a non-profit, but because of our strong belief in recycling and reusing to help our community and planet.
