Indoor Air Quality & Home Environmental Safety

Most people are aware that outdoor air pollution can affect their health. Unfortunately, indoor air pollution can also have significant health effects. Studies conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) show that levels of many pollutants may be 2-5 times higher in indoor air -- and occasionally more than 100 times higher -- than outdoor levels. These indoor levels are of particular concern because most people spend an estimated 90% of their time indoors.
