Do You Need a Dynamic Speaker? Try the WCHO Speakers Bureau
Our mission is to put a face on mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse to overcome stigma and discrimination by sharing successful stories of hope and recovery.
WCHO has a Speakers Bureau that has been reaching out to the community, and they are always looking for new speaking engagements and new speakers. In addition to presentations by those successfully coping with mental illness, developmental disabilitie and substance abuse, speakers include family members, providers, and/or administration.
The WCHO Speakers Bureau provides presentations to high schools, universities, civic organizations, community agencies, and places of worship.
If you know of someone who would like to be interviewed as a potential speaker, or if you know of an agency that would like to have a speaker(s), please contact WCHO Customer Service at 734-544-3050 or Customer.service@ewashtenaw.org
One of the best ways to instill a sense of hope is to listen to a success story!
