These Academic Linkages pages were designed to meet the needs of Washtenaw County Health Services and the public with regard to student involvement in community health projects.

The Washtenaw County Health Services Departments, Public Health and Community Support & Treatment Services (CSTS/Mental Health), need students to assist with various projects. At the same time, Public Health and Mental Health offer student internships and volunteer opportunities.

Our mission is to provide a training environment that facilitates interns’ transitions from students to professionals. This program builds upon the theoretical, empirical, and clinical foundations that interns receive from their academic programs.
