Home Rehabilitation Program Contractor Information

The Office of Community Development operates the Home Rehabilitation Program serving income eligible homeowners in the City of Ann Arbor and the Washtenaw Urban County Area.

As part of this program, the OCD offers licensed approved contractors opportunities to bid on work.  Both general and subcontractors must meet City/County requirements and be approved by the OCD prior to bidding on jobs.  Contractors interested in obtaining work thru the OCD should complete and return these forms:

 Instructions to complete Human Rigts Forms 
 Human Rights Compliance -entire Orgainzation
 Human Rights Compliance - local only
 Living Wage        

In addition , Contractors must submit current copies of:

  • Contractors Liability Insurance ($500,000 minimum)
  • Workmen’s Compensation Insurance, which meets State of Michigan statutory requirements. (If Applicable)
  • Michigan Builders License or Michigan Maintenance & Alteration License
  • Lead Abatement License (If applicable)
  • Safe Work Practices Certification(s) (If applicable)

Please be advised that after the Office of Community Development has contacted references, checked histories licenses, and inspected prior work, your company may be added to our list of approved contractors on a probationary basis.
