Citizen Participation

The Office of Community Development works with four citizen committees which provide input on policies, programs and procedures. Citizens can contribute toward the successful operation of the Community Development programs by providing a perspective that is representative of the diversity of the community and ensures that all neighborhood needs are appropriately identified.

City of Ann Arbor committees include the Housing and Human Services Advisory Board and the Waiver and Review Board. To apply for a position on a citizen board, contact the Mayor's office at 734 994-2766. The Mayor appoints citizen board members with the consent of City Council.

Washtenaw County committees include the Urban County Board and the HOME Consortium.

All meetings are open to the public.  For meeting schedules and recent meeting minutes, follow the links to each committee.
