BECOME A STEWARD
To become a Steward, your organization must pass a board resolution authorizing the signing of the Leadership Services Agreement. Individuals may also join by signing the leadership agreement and paying dues as set forth in the guidelines. The CCWC is governed by the Operating Guidelines.

ABOUT THE STEWARDS
The Community Collaborative Stewards are community leaders who advise the Executive Committee on the key Community Priorities. The group meets a minimum of twice per year in a large public forum. Stewards sign a “Leadership Services Agreement” (see below) and pay annual dues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Stewards’ general responsibilities are as follows:

Advise on community priorities and monitor progress on outcomes;

Promote data-driven community priorities;

Identify critical indicators and recommend action to the Executive Committee regarding the indicators;

Fund the biennial Community Indicators Report (through the dues) and participate in the biennial “Community Plenary Session.”

STEWARD MEMBERSHIP
The Stewards are an open group with membership determined by a signed leadership agreement and paid dues.
Each Steward agrees to fulfill the obligations set forth in the Leadership Services Agreement which must be signed by the Board with an official motion from the Board to support the agreement, including:

Commitment to pay dues, as well as provide in-kind and other resources (see below, Dues) to support the Community Indicators Report and other services;

To the greatest extent possible, commitment resources to gain maximum advantage of State and Federal money and leverage private and community resources;
-
Display of a willingness to implement changes to the way work is done within member’s organization in the interest of fostering successful collaboration.
