The Washtenaw County Continuum of Care (CoC) community has been working hard to complete the 2017 CoC Funding Competition process to renew approximately $5.5 million in CoC funding for Washtenaw County, as well as apply for $334,013 in new funds. The Continuum of Care (CoC) 2017 Competition Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) was released on July 14, 2017. Since then, the Washtenaw County CoC community has been working hard to complete the 2017 CoC Funding Competition process to renew approximately $5.5 million in CoC funding, as well as apply for $334,013 in new funds. Last week, we shared with you the CoC Board approved report covering the review and ranking process, including the objective criteria used to review and score projects and the final project funding and ranking. In short, 19 renewal projects and one new bonus project were ranked and submitted for funding. In addition, the CoC applied for a Planning Grant in the amount of $167, 007, though this application is not ranked. In total, the CoC is submitting 21 projects for renewed or new funding. To learn more, the report can be found on the CoC website here.

Both parts of the CoC Consolidated Application, the CoC Application (narrative) & Priority Listing (all submitted projects) are posted below for public review.

A huge thank you to all of our permanent housing providers, WHA, HAWC, OCED staff, the Funding Review Team, the CoC Board, and other community partners who worked around the clock to submit necessary project information, complete project applications, review projects, and/or provide application narrative. The combined efforts concluded in a strong community application to end homelessness in Washtenaw County! Everyone deserves a huge pat on the back!
