OCED is opening registration for contractors for both it's Housing Rehabilitation and Urban County programs. Local, minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
This week the Northfield Township Community Center, 9101 Main Street, began hosting a congregate meal program for older adults in the Northfield Township area in collaboration with the Washtenaw County Office of Community and Economic Development.
Starting Tues., March 17, older adults that are home bound in Milan, Augusta, and York Townships will now have improved access to home-delivered meals.
On Tuesday, March 3, Ypsilanti Township became the 6th and final governmental body to adopt the County’s recent “Housing Affordability and Economic Equity Analysis Report.”
Funding is available to assist Washtenaw County residents in need of deliverable fuels including propane, fuel oil, firewood, coal, kerosene, heating fuel pellets and corn.
Washtenaw County Government is offering Washtenaw County non-profit groups the opportunity to apply for mini-grants related to economic development.
