Credentialing Subcommittee of NMC

The Credentialing Subcommittee is comprised of practitioners from each CMHPSM affiliate and Washtenaw County Community Support and Treatment Services. 

• This subcommittee meets to review the credentials of physician and non-physician Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP) applying for appointment or reappointment to the CMHPSM.
• The subcommittee reviews each LIP's complete application and resume, including information on licensure, education, insurance coverage and results of background checks, which include peer reviews or recommendations, that are verified through primary sources.
• Each CMHPSM affiliate grants clinical responsibilities to the licensed independent practitioners it will be utilizing by the issuance of a contract to the practitioner, in accordance with CMHPSM policy.
