Corporate Compliance Committee

The Corporate Compliance Committee is charged with meeting the regulatory compliances and currenly meets bi-monthly and includes representation from each county. 

This committee's focus is on meeting the regulatory compliances of several entities such as

• the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH),
• the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHCO),
• along with federal compliance with the Balanced Budget Act  (BBA) and
• Health Insurance Potability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). 

The members of this committee review and develop policies and procedures to ensure that each county within the affiliation meet the necessary standards and make recommendations for change if needed.
